Product Information
Glucopon® alkyl polyglucosides 215 UP and 425 N are nonionic surfactants made from glucose and plant-derived fatty alcohols. Because they are not built from ethylene oxide, no 1,4-dioxane is expected. Both grades are supplied as aqueous solutions and differ primarily in alkyl chain length, which sets foam profile, detergency, and solubilizing behavior.
Key Benefits
- 100% renewable carbon content
- No 1,4-dioxane expected
- Readily biodegradable
- Stable and soluble in caustic and saline solutions, with strong solubilizing power in concentrated surfactant systems
- Compatible with all other classes of surfactant
- Mild, with low skin and eco toxicity
- No cloud point or gelling, even at low temperature
